A highly unusual and possibly unique example of Omega’s postwar production, this circa 1945 reference 2391/4 houses the revered calibre 30T2 within a classic stainless steel case — but it is the dial that makes this watch truly remarkable. Featuring an untouched Masonic emblem with olive branches, a crown, and central altar motif, the dial appears to have been a later special-order assembly using New Old Stock Omega components, likely commissioned for a high-ranking Freemason. The layout and emblem are factory-printed and professionally finished, not an aftermarket redial — a testament to Omega’s practice of supplying custom dials for fraternal, military, and ceremonial use in the immediate postwar years.
Watches like this were rarely offered publicly, as most remained within families, passed down as significant heirlooms. The survival of this example in such well-preserved condition, with no known comparables at auction in recent years, makes it an exceptionally rare acquisition opportunity. For a Masonic lodge or collector of symbolic or esoteric timepieces, this watch represents a compelling intersection of Swiss horology and fraternal history — one that likely will not reappear on the open market.
