Introduced in the early 1990s, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duoface expanded on the original 1931 Reverso concept by incorporating a second time zone and 24-hour indicator into its ingenious swivelling case. The reference 270.840.544B, dating to 1998, captures this evolution perfectly — uniting the Art Deco elegance of the classic Reverso design with a technically sophisticated dual-time display. One side features the familiar silvered guilloché dial with Arabic numerals and blued sword hands, while the reverse reveals a contrasting dark dial indicating an adjustable second time zone, complete with day-night aperture. This dual-personality design makes it equally suited to the traveller and the aesthete.
Inside beats the in-house calibre 854, a manually wound movement comprising over 200 components, finished to Jaeger-LeCoultre’s exacting standards and specifically engineered to power the reversible case mechanism.
